What it is
Ostarine (MK-2866, also enobosarm) is a Selective Androgen Receptor Modulator (SARM) — a non-steroidal molecule that selectively binds the androgen receptor in muscle and bone tissue while sparing other tissues that respond to traditional androgens.
Developed by GTx, Inc. and investigated in clinical trials for cancer cachexia, age-related muscle wasting, and osteoporosis. Has not received approval as a pharmaceutical. Banned by WADA.
