What it is
S4 (andarine, GTx-007) is one of the earliest SARMs, developed by GTx, Inc. Investigated for muscle wasting and benign prostatic hyperplasia but discontinued in favor of newer compounds in the GTx pipeline (notably ostarine).
Known historically for a reversible visual side effect (a yellow-green tint to vision, particularly in low light) caused by S4’s interaction with melanocortin receptors in the retina.
