What it is
CJC-1295 is a synthetic analog of growth-hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH). It signals the pituitary through the GHRH receptor to release endogenous growth hormone.
Two forms exist:
- CJC-1295 with DAC — modified with a Drug Affinity Complex that binds albumin, dramatically extending half-life (days).
- CJC-1295 without DAC (also called Modified GRF 1-29 or Mod GRF 1-29) — short-acting, half-life measured in minutes.
Often discussed alongside
Ipamorelin. The combination is one of the most-studied secretagogue stacks in the research literature because GHRH-receptor activation (CJC) and ghrelin-receptor activation (ipamorelin) act through complementary pathways.
Important
Sold as a research-purpose product. Not an approved medication. The DAC and non-DAC versions have very different pharmacokinetics — always read the vial label to confirm which version is supplied.
